COUNTRY GARDEN
In our 3,500 m² natural garden, you will find a wide variety of ornamental grasses, around three hundred shrub roses and numerous insect-friendly perennials. The garden is set within a largely unspoilt nature reserve with beautiful hiking, walking and cycling trails, as well as a popular canoeing route.
A traditional cottage garden with four beds and a water basin opens up views of fields and forests to the west.
To the east lies the kitchen garden with raised beds and a small orchard meadow where our happy chickens live. The different garden areas are bordered by a hydrangea hedge to the south and a strip of wild fruit trees and shrubs to the north, including blackthorn, Cornelian cherry, hazel, hawthorn and elder. From the centrally located rose pavilion, a path leads to a romantic fire pit overlooking the wide, tree-lined Spreewiesen landscape – ideal grazing land for our Heidschnucken sheep. Numerous benches and seating areas invite you to sit, take in the view and daydream.
