ALWINE – THE COUNTRY HOUSE AT THE SPREEWIESEN
Alwine offers 13 lovingly designed rooms with views of protected riverside meadows, mature trees lining the avenue and an idyllic cottage garden. Just an hour’s drive from Berlin, yet a world away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life; on the edge of a quiet village by the Spree, yet right in the middle of it all: four ADFC cycle routes and one of the most beautiful paddling routes on the Spree for river touring run directly past our garden.
Alwine is a small country house with plenty of possibilities – a romantic hideaway for those tired of city life, a base for active holidays, or a stopover for hikers, cyclists and paddlers.
A café, a small but lovely wellness area and a garden pool await you. And plenty of nature all around. Those who simply stop by for coffee and cake are very welcome too.
Alwine is the perfect place from which to explore the Seenland Oder-Spree region. Nearby lies the Scharmützelsee with elegant Bad Saarow. Paddlers love the unspoilt Drahendorfer Spree. Historic Beeskow offers history and culture. And Brandenburg’s most beautiful stream valley along the Schlaube has long been well known among hikers. If that all sounds like too much activity, you can simply relax in our garden. You couldn’t ask for more nature, more Brandenburg or more peace and quiet.
